Rev. Harris Wilson, the son of Eliza Frinks was born December 5, 1952. He was nurtured and reared by his greatest inspiration - his grandmother, the late Mrs. Katie Wilson. He attended Loris Elementary School and is a graduate of Loris High School. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the United States Navy.
After returning home, he rejoined the McNeil Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he had joined at an early age. His mission at McNeil Chapel was to promote God's Kingdom by serving as Chariman of the Trustee Board and other capacities.
In September of 2001, God called him to be a carrier of His Word. The Kingston Lake Missionary Baptist Association ordained him in March of 2002. Rev. Wilson received a degree of Theology from Langston Bible Institute, Langston Baptist Church in 2003.
He was called to shepherd the congregation of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church on April 4, 2004.
He served as the President of the Kingston Lake Young People's Association. This man of God continues to study and learn about God.
He is employed with HTC. He is married to the former Clara Owens and the father of three children: Corey, Ebony and Shanice.
